Join our small, mission-driven nonprofit as the Development Director. This role leads fundraising, donor relations, grants, communications, and community outreach. Ideal for a relationship-centered professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead annual fundraising plan, individual giving, grants, and sponsorships.
- Manage donor cultivation, stewardship, and database tracking.
- Manage research, creation, and submission of grant proposals and reports.
- Oversee external communications, newsletters, social media, and branding.
- Represent the organization at community meetings and events.
- Support planning of fundraising and donor engagement events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree (Masters preferred) in related field
- 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Successful track record with individual donors or grants.
- Ability to work independently in a small nonprofit environment.
- CRM/donor database experience preferred.
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000. Benefits may include health insurance, PTO, retirement, and professional development.
