What you'll do
⦿ Metal Pouring Operations: Safely and accurately pour molten metal from the ladle into sand molds, ensuring the correct heat and mold count are verified for each pour.
⦿ Ladle Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the ladle refractory by chipping solidified slag to keep the ladle in optimal condition for continuous operation.
⦿ Work Order Management: Identify the next heat to be poured, take temperature readings, and collect samples from the ladle to support quality control and process efficiency.
⦿ Material Transfer: Roll ladles to transfer molten metal to the AOD vessel and manage slag removal at designated times during the melting process.
⦿ Work Area Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
⦿ Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you'll bring

⦿ High school diploma or GED equivalent
⦿ Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
⦿ Ability to safely handle molten metal and operate ladle equipment

⦿ Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
