Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to join our industrial sewing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established quality standards through thorough inspection and adherence to quality control procedures. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting sewn goods produced on the floor for material defects and packaging finished product for sale.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections using hands to inspect for defects and functionality
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, work in progress, and finished products
- Document and report inspection results accurately
-Accurately count finished product
- Perform inventory of manufacturing materials and components regularly
- Package product with appropriate paperwork where applicable
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly
- Assist in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement initiatives
Skills
This job requires the ability to stand for the entire 8 hour shift
- Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
