Greenwich, CT | Merchant Banking, M&A & Principal Investing
Our client, a boutique Merchant Bank based in Greenwich, Connecticut, is seeking two Associates to join its growing team.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside senior bankers and investors on live M&A transactions, strategic advisory mandates, and a differentiated merchant banking platform that includes a principal-backed SPAC initiative focused on identifying, acquiring, and building businesses at the intersection of National Security, Government Technology, and Commercial Technology.
What You'll Do
- Support execution of live M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements
- Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare client presentations, investment committee materials, and marketing documents
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research
- Participate in due diligence processes and transaction execution
- Evaluate investment opportunities within the firm's merchant banking and SPAC platform
- Work directly with senior executives, founders, and management teams

Qualifications
- 1-4 years of investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, valuation, or related experience preferred at the associate level
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn from experienced dealmakers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in National Security, Government Technology, and Commercial Technology sectors is a plus
