Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pole Barn Crew Leader to oversee the construction, maintenance, and repair of custom post-frame buildings, including pole barns, garages, shops, agricultural buildings, horse barns, commercial buildings, barndominiums, and post-frame homes. Our projects range from basic storage buildings to fully customized residential and commercial structures. This energetic role involves leading a team of skilled workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, and hands-on experience. As a leader in this dynamic environment, you will play a vital role in supporting construction operations and ensuring the durability and functionality of pole barn structures.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a post-frame construction crew
Qualifications:
- Previous pole barn, post-frame, framing or similar construction experience required
- Crew leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read plans and understand building layouts
- Strong knowledge of framing and construction practices
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable transportation and valid driver's license
- Reliable, hardworking and able to lead by example
- Able to communicate effectively with crew members and management
- Read building plans and construction drawings
- Lay out buildings and verify measurements
- Set posts, install trusses, framing, girts, purlins, metal roofing and siding
- Install doors, windows, trim, soffit and other building components
- Coordinate daily tasks and keep the crew productive
- Ensure work meets Midland's quality standards
- Maintain an organized and safe jobsite
- Communicate job progress, material needs and jobsite issues with management
- Properly operate construction equipment and tools

Pay: Competitive and based on experience
Location: Danville / Indianapolis area with travel to surrounding jobsites
