Job Summary
As our front desk team member, you help hold the flow of the day together. You support our waxers by protecting the schedule, caring for clients, and helping the studio stay organized, calm, and welcoming. When the studio runs smoothly, everyone feels it.
Your main focus will always be the client experience and schedule flow.
When things are calm, you’ll also support light operations tasks that help the team thrive.
Responsibilities
- Greet and care for clients in person, by phone, and via text
- Check clients in and out smoothly
- Rebook clients before they leave
- Help fill last-minute cancellations and open appointment gaps
- Communicate and enforce studio policies kindly and confidently
- Answer questions about services and retail products
- Keep the lobby, front desk, and retail areas clean and welcoming
- Help keep the break room neat and organized
- Assist with light laundry rotation if needed
- End-of-day studio reset tasks
- Weekly backbar counts
- Noting low-stock items for the owner
- Updating inventory tracking sheets
- Receiving and organizing inventory deliveries
Qualifications
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Calm under pressure and good at prioritizing
- Friendly but professional communicator
- Comfortable enforcing policies respectfully
- Able to switch tasks without losing focus
- Previous front desk, spa, salon, or customer service experience is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
