What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Support Tech - Day Floater/Night Floater positions available position at The Wave International?
Who We Are
The Wave is a company focused on the healing of our clients with Mental Health issues. As a Residential Treatment Center, we offer women the opportunity to come to find a place to heal issues such as Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and much more. Through our various levels of care, we provide a structured all-day program that teaches coping and life skills. As a member of our team, you take part in the healing process and play a key role in getting our clients through the program.
What is the Role
As a Wellness Support Technician (WST for short) you interact with our clients on a daily level participating in all aspects of their daily life. In your role you will be doing the following:
- Welcoming new clients to the facility and orienting them to the program.
- Transporting clients (Valid DL Required) to planned activities or store runs.
- Serving as a person of support when life or the program gets challenging.
- Redirecting behavior that doesn’t align with our client handbook.
- Monitoring the clients take their own medications as prescribed by the doctor.
- Entering daily information into our systems to make sure everyone is informed of what went on in your shift
What is Required
- Experience working with clients in a Healthcare facility is strongly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
- CPR Certification
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
- Ability to download and or use company applications such as Microsoft Teams, BambooHR, and TimeWorks Plus on your cellphone
- Moderate Computer Literacy and ability to use Electronic Health Systems
- Comfortable with traveling between Clearwater and Brooksville to cover needed shifts.

The Wave is a licensed facility through the Agency for Health Care Administration and accredited by The Joint Commission. As such all staff requires a Level 2 background clearance as well as a clean drug screen.
Salary : $18 - $20
