Excavation Laborer

What You’ll Do
- Move materials to and from job sites; organize and store materials properly
- Load and unload trucks with construction materials and equipment
- Assist in the installation of water lines, gas lines, and sewer lines in accordance with city and state specifications
- Support plumbers, drain cleaners, excavation crews, industrial teams, shop staff, and administrative employees as directed
- Perform a wide range of physical tasks in support of job site Operators
- Excavate and fill trenches and ditches
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all safety policies and job site procedures

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to communicate clearly (speak, read, and write)
- Ability to understand, follow, and relay written and verbal instructions
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than 4 points
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including:
- Criminal background check
- Motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Drug screening
Maintaining eligibility to operate company vehicles is a fundamental job requirement. Employees must keep a driving record that remains insurable under the company’s vehicle insurance provider.
