Pay Range $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

The Fitness Coordinator, is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Promote wellness by leading group fitness classes, providing personal training and assisting residents in improving their overall well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean fitness/pool area and equipment.
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities
- A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions
- Personal Training and/or Group Exercise Certification or be willing to pursue.
- Experience in working in personal training, group fitness and/or wellness in a clinical fitness/physical therapy setting.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families
- Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include Saturdays, as appropriate
