Position: Laundry Aide Status: PT Setting: The Waters of Gainesboro - Long‑Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility
Our team is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented PT Laundry Aide to support our residents and staff by ensuring linens and personal items are cleaned, sanitized, and handled with care. This role is essential to maintaining a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal laundry
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment
Follow infection control procedures and facility policies
Work collaboratively with housekeeping and nursing teams
Provide excellent customer service to residents and families
Qualifications
Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, especially in healthcare
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Positive attitude and commitment to resident dignity and comfort
