Dance Studio Front Desk Staff

The Warehouse Dance Studio is a community-focused dance studio located in Mount Pleasant, SC, dedicated to providing high-quality dance education in a supportive, creative, and welcoming environment. We offer classes and programs for dancers of all ages and experience levels, with a focus on building confidence, strong technique, artistic expression, and a lifelong love of movement.

The Front Desk Staff Member is an essential part of the daily studio experience. This role serves as the first point of contact for students, families, and visitors while helping maintain an organized, welcoming, and positive studio environment.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A background or interest in dance is highly preferred, as this position requires an understanding of class offerings, studio programs, and communication with dancers and instructors.

• Welcome students, families, and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude
• Assist with daily studio operations
• Answer phone calls, emails, and parent questions in a timely and professional manner
• Provide accurate information regarding schedules, tuition, registration, policies, and studio programs
• Process payments
• Assist with class registrations and account updates
• Maintain attendance records and organized digital and physical files
• Communicate effectively with instructors, staff members, and families
• Keep the lobby and front desk area clean, organized, welcoming, and safe
• Help create a positive experience for every student and family who walks through the door

• Background, experience, or strong interest in dance, dance education, or dance instruction preferred
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication in person, by phone, and through email
• Comfortable using computers and learning studio management systems for registrations, payments, scheduling, and data entry
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy studio environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work assigned shifts
• Availability after 3pm
• Previous experience in front desk, reception, retail, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred but not required
