Member Service Representative

The Ward Team is seeking a friendly, resourceful and professional individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and assisting with a wide range of inquiries and concerns. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a natural problem-solver, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for members, providing timely and efficient resolution to inquiries and concerns through various channels including phone, email, and online chat.
• Assist members with account updates, payments, and other simple account transactions.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to address complex member inquiries and issues, and escalate to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the member experience and present ideas for process improvements to the team.
• Stay up to date on company policies, procedures, and products to ensure accurate and consistent responses to member inquiries.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all member needs are met and exceeded.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with members and team members at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
• Knowledge of financial products and services is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
