Role Description
The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in managing daily financial operations and preparing accurate financial records and reports. This role is responsible for posting journal entries from source documentation, reconciling asset and liability accounts, and ensuring overall financial accuracy. The Assistant Controller oversees member billing and receivables, including preparing and distributing invoices, reconciling and posting payments, and processing payroll entries.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in accounting
• Minimum of two years accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reports.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Products.
• Jonas Software and Paylocity experience preferred.
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience in the hospitality or private club industry is an advantage
- Ability to work on-site in Wellington, FL, and commit to a full-time schedule
