What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Defense Attorney position at The Waltz Law Group?
The Waltz Law Group is a regional insurance defense firm seeking an attorney with experience to join our insurance defense litigation practice in our New Orleans office.
Qualified candidates will possess at least three (3) years of litigation experience and the ability to independently manage litigation files.
The successful candidate should have a track record of high achievement, the desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment and the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates must be able to:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload
- Experience taking depositions
- Prepare and respond to discovery and pleadings
- Trial preparation and support
- Maintain accurate time records
Candidate Requirements:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 3 years’ defense litigation experience
- Admitted to practice in Louisiana
Salary will be based upon experience. Our employee benefits package includes group health benefit and dental plans; PTO; 401K plan; Paid parking.
