About The Role
The Walt Disney Studios Post Production is a team within the Disney Live Action (DLA) group. We set up, budget, schedule and lead the Post Production aspects of the Live Action features. The DLA Post Production team is responsible for Live Action Theatrical and Streaming titles such as Lilo & Stitch and Tron: Ares, as well as animated projects such as Ice Age and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. This team collaborates with teams across all departments within their respective banners, from the very conception to delivery of a project.
The Post Production Internship is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to all aspects of the Post Production process from a Studio perspective. Interns will be responsible for upkeep of our essential databases, rolling calls when necessary, and getting hands on experiences with our productions.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will help update and modify our various post databases, assist as we continue to streamline our digital wrap procedure, and be able to visit project Post Production offices and hopefully get hands on experience on the movie project(s). The database project(s) include updating current data, as well as adding new fields and functionality. You may have the opportunity to help with tracking and archiving movie assets (ie, concept artwork, renders…), as well as consolidating reports and other wrap files.

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university studying Film/Video Production, Communications, Film/Video Production Management, or related majors.

- Creating and updating Show Files
- Updating Post Databases (Editors, Post Supervisors, VFX Editors etc.)
- Covering desks when necessary (answering phones, rolling calls, scheduling, etc.)
- Completing general office tasks (printing, copying, phones, filing, etc.)
- Have a focused interest in Post Production
- Hard-working, self-motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of stakeholder engagement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive team-player
- Familiarity with a non-linear editing platform (Avid/Final Cut/Adobe Premier)
- Prior internships and/or classes in Post Production and related subjects
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university studying Film/Video Production, Communications, Film/Video Production Management, or related majors.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through August 2026
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9am – 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
