Walt Disney Pictures is currently seeking an Animation Production Coordinator to join the team that brought you such films as Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again and Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever. The Production Coordinator will support the animation production office coordination throughout the lifecycle of feature animation production.
This team is looking for 2 coordinators: (1) Fulltime Regular and (1) Project Hire with an anticipated ending of September 2027.
This role reports to the Animation Production Executive.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with and assist the Animation Production Executive to coordinate on assigned films from pre-production through the wrap of production.
- Set up Studio policies and procedure manuals for films supervised by Animation Production Executive.
- Management of materials which include maintaining lists & contracts, researching information, compiling, archiving, sending and securing files.
- Work directly with production vendors to secure day-to-day updates during set-up and production.
- Schedule appointments.
- Take meeting minutes when appropriate.
- Arrange voice record studio holds, schedule talent, ensure talent paperwork is obtained prior to record, arrange studio teacher when applicable, create sides for voice records, distribute voice record schedule and sides to artists and internal teams.
- Facilitate script, design and cut clearance with clearance department.
- Address filmmaker and collaborator’s technical issues when they arise.
- Arrange travel as needed.
- Process expense reports.
- Occasional script analysis required (breakdown sets, cast & location).
- Special projects and support required by the production team as needed.
- Miscellaneous departmental duties as needed.
- Ad-hoc projects for marketing, casting, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 years’ work experience working in Animation, Production or Post-Production.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, make preliminary decisions and change course of action quickly.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism and service orientation.
- Strong organizational and follow-thru skills, keeping supervisor informed on completed tasks and status of current tasks at hand.
- Strong administrative skills a must (handling phones, calendar, contacts, etc.).
- Ability to resolve routine issues and raise complex issues to management.
- Ability to work with highly confidential material.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
- Experience working in a Creative Development department is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Airtable, Box, PIX, IMB Aspera on Cloud, Scenechronize, SyncSketch.
Salary : $52,300 - $67,600
