Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Engineer based in Athens, GA. The Project Engineer will oversee project management tasks such as planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects to ensure successful completion within timelines and budgets for the SR 316 Bundle 2 bridge replacements. Responsibilities include assisting with project schedules, maintaining engineering and construction standards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and liaising with stakeholders to address project-related concerns. The role also involves preparing reports, reviewing blueprints, and managing project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Project Management, Project Engineering, and Project Planning
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, documentation, and design standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site construction environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Previous experience in construction or related industries is a plus
