We are on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing reservations, seating arrangements, and cashier responsibilities. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and guiding them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Handle cashier duties using POS systems such as Sky Tab to process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest needs and special requests.
- Provide friendly assistance over the phone with reservation, Inputting pick up orders in POS System, taking payments , know the menu, inquiries or general questions, demonstrating good phone etiquette.
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
Experience
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros Pos is advantageous.
- Experience working in hospitality environments like hotels or restaurants enhances your ability to deliver guest services effectively.
- Knowledge of guest relations, serving etiquette, and hospitality standards helps create memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure.
