This role is ideal for an educator with AP-level experience who is excited to teach AP World History and AP U.S. Government while also bringing versatility to teach a range of history and social studies courses.

What You’ll Do
- Teach a dynamic mix of upper school history courses, including AP World History and AP U.S. Government
- Design student-centered, discussion-driven classrooms that prioritize inquiry, analysis, and real-world connections
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in curiosity, empathy, and high expectations
- Collaborate with colleagues to create meaningful, interdisciplinary learning experiences
- Serve as an advisor to a small group of students, supporting both academic and personal growth
- Engage fully in school life through coaching, sponsoring student organizations, or other extracurricular involvement
- An educator with experience teaching AP-level courses and a deep understanding of historical thinking skills
- A creative instructor who brings energy, innovation, and relevance to the classroom
- A relationship-builder who connects authentically with students
- A collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented environment
- A lifelong learner with a growth mindset and openness to feedback

- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated excellence in upper school teaching
