What You’ll Do
- Plan & Coordinate Projects: Develop and manage schedules, submit RFIs, control documentation, and coordinate labor and materials to keep refrigeration projects on track and on time.
- Support Field Execution: Apply your refrigeration knowledge to review submittals and P&IDs, and provide guidance to field crews on installation sequencing and commissioning procedures.
- Drive Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and startup audits, document issues, and lead corrective action to ensure all work meets specifications and code requirements.
- Track Project Costs: Monitor budgets for labor, materials, and equipment; identify savings opportunities and flag variances early to keep projects on budget.
- Manage Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- 2–4 years of experience in refrigeration construction, mechanical contracting, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar preferred — equivalent experience considered
- Working knowledge of commercial or industrial refrigeration systems (CO ₂ , ammonia, HFCs, or similar)
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment submittals
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites
