Job Description
An ideal candidate will be someone that has a strong a facility engineering background that is also detail-oriented and able to execute administrative tasks involving CMMS and purchasing systems.
Tasks Will Include
- Facility Operations Management: Oversees the day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and space management. Ensures that all facilities and grounds are kept clean, safe, and secure.
- Keeping the facility layout up to date Facilities POC/Lead for EHS programs.
- Writing purchase orders and funding blanket PO's CMMS Asset management
- Budget and Resource Management: Develops and oversees the facility budget, including annual forecasts and cost management strategies to control expenses.
- CMMS spare part management
- Maintaining CPMM's and ZESP's
- Partners with the facility engineer to ensure reliable, efficient, and sustained operation of the facility and all utility equipment. Drive/improve (infrastructure, utility), availability, reliability, and efficiency
- Lead/Co-lead capital projects
- On call responsibilities every other weekend for facilities related issues
- Safety is a top priority. Ensures compliance with EHS requirements & programs
- Strong knowledge about building infrastructure including mechanical, electrical, and utility systems Experience and familiarity with air compressors, pumps, chillers, water systems, fire systems
- Working knowledge of Siemens automation system, VFD's, etc
- Proficient in CAD
- Ability to be on call approximately 2 weekends per month
- Manage contractors for maintenance, repairs, and small projects
- Support site shutdown and general repair of utilities through small projects
- Utilize CMMS system to manage assets, work orders, and spare part inventory
- 5-7 years of facility management experience
