What You'll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Support residents with medications according to facility protocol
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry to keep residents' spaces clean and comfortable
- Provide companionship and emotional support, treating every resident with dignity and respect
- Observe and report any changes in residents' condition to the supervisor
- Document care accurately and on time
- Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Recent physical, including drug screen, PPD, and Rubella and Rubeola titers
- Availability for evening shifts, including weekends
- Reliability and punctuality, with a positive, self-motivated attitude
- Patience, compassion, and respect for older adults
