Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Services Director to oversee the daily operations of our Food Service Department. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, ensure compliance with health regulations, and deliver high-quality meals and services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage menus that meet nutritional and regulatory standards
- Supervise and support dietary personnel and kitchen staff
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure cleanliness and safety
- Order food, supplies, and equipment within budget
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations
- Collaborate with nursing and administration to meet resident needs
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of food service management experience (healthcare/assisted living preferred)
- Knowledge of dietary regulations and special diets
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- ServSafe Certification or Food Handlers Certificate required
