Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sports Physical Therapist located in New York, NY. The Sports Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with sports-related injuries, designing and implementing rehabilitation programs, and providing education on injury prevention strategies. The role involves collaborating with patients to improve their physical function and performance through customized treatment plans, as well as offering guidance and support throughout the recovery process.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Physical Therapy and Patient Care, ensuring a hands-on, patient-first approach to treatment
- Strong knowledge and application of Injury Prevention and Strength & Conditioning techniques
- Experience in Orthopedics and treating sports-related injuries
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York
- Experience or certification in sports therapy or athletic training is a plus
- Enthusiasm for working with athletes and active individuals to achieve their rehabilitation and performance goals
