Job Summary
The Packer is responsible for retrieving, packing, and preparing for shipment customer-owned product in the Warehouse area
What You’ll Do…
- Receives pick tickets from Warehouse Lead and pulls items from warehouse shelves in a safe and efficient manner.
- Prepares and consolidates picked items into appropriate shipping containers.
- Determines proper type and amount of packing material, and packs containers to avoid shipping damage to materials in transit
- Obtains and affixes all shipping labels to shipping containers
- Checks for orders delivered to the order control bins and enters such into logbooks
- Makes hourly deliveries of packed, shipping-ready orders to the shipping area
- Completes all required time summaries
- Maintains departmental goals and requirements established to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
- Performs reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring…
- High School diploma or GED
- One year related experience and/or training
