Job Summary:
The Large Format Digital Press Operator will operate and maintain large format digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
What you'll do...
- Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing
- Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs
- Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary
- Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery
- Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring...
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a digital press operator, preferably with large format printers
- Strong technical knowledge of digital printing processes and equipment
- Familiarity with color management techniques and print quality assurance
- Ability to read and interpret print specifications and technical documents
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
