We are committed to producing the best content from the biggest names in their respective fields.We're seeking a creative content producer to shoot, edit, and manage behind-the-scenes content for a new hip-hop and rap music & conversation podcast which will be distributed across all the major audio and video platforms. The ideal candidate is skilled in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects, has a strong knowledge of current and classic hip-hop music, and excels in capturing and producing engaging content.This role will be based in New York City with options for contractor/freelancer or full time opportunities. What You’ll Do:Shoot, edit, produce fun behind-the-scenes contentCollaborate with show hosts to prepare timely and relevant show topics and rundown ahead of recordingsCommunicate daily with our Head of Content on high level notes and takeawaysRecord ad reads and organize any sales contentSolve basic technology issues on sitePost content across social platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)Help manage YouTube channel, posting videos, writing titles, and designing thumbnailsCoordinate regularly with Head of Digital on data tracking, trends, and strategyHandle sales requests that involve shooting, editing and producing footageWho You Are:Strong passion for hip-hop music and related contentExperienced in producing and managing talent with strong personalitiesPossess an active knowledge of current and classic hip-hop and rap artistsHighly proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After EffectsAble to shoot footage and handle basic lighting and audioGreat communication and collaboration skillsStrong eye for top performing contentFor a complete application, please submit a cover letter detailing interest in working for The Volume and samples of your work.The salary for this role is $75,000 USD.
