Studio Manager / Lead Vital Stretch Practitioner
The Vital Stretch Mequon is hiring its founding Studio Manager to lead daily operations, deliver assisted stretches, and build the studio's member base from launch. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants ownership-style accountability without the financial risk of ownership.
About Vital Stretch
Vital Stretch is a growing assisted-stretching brand serving athletes, active professionals, and adults focused on long-term mobility and healthspan. The Mequon studio is our newest location and the first in southeastern Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Deliver assisted-stretch sessions as the lead Vital Stretch Practitioner
- Hire, train, and manage the studio team
- Own member acquisition, lead conversion, retention, and KPI performance
- Run daily operations including scheduling, intros, member experience, and studio cleanliness
- Build local community partnerships with athletic, wellness, and senior-focused organizations
- Represent the brand on social media and in-studio
- Manage administrative tasks including session check-ins, payroll input, and reporting
Compensation
- Base salary $42,000–$46,000 annually, commensurate with experience
- Realistic year-one total target compensation of $50,000–$56,000 through a defined performance bonus structure tied to memberships, in-studio utilization, and lead-conversion KPIs
- 401(k) with 4% safe harbor employer match, fully vested immediately (subject to plan eligibility)
- Two complimentary stretch sessions per month
- 12 days paid time off in year one
- Vital Stretch Method certification provided
Growth Path
This role is positioned as the foundation for the studio's long-term leadership team and future expansion. For the right candidate, demonstrated performance and continued business growth may lead to promotion to General Manager with expanded responsibilities, increased base compensation, and participation in additional incentive programs. Specific terms determined at the time of promotion.
Required Qualifications
- Background in fitness, sports performance, or licensed massage therapy
- One of the following certifications, or eligibility and willingness to earn one: NASM-CPT, ACE-CPT, ACSM-CPT, NSCA-CSCS, or active LMT license
- Sales experience or demonstrated comfort with converting prospects into members
- Strong organizational and team leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
Schedule
Full-time exempt salaried position, approximately 40–45 hours per week. Schedule includes evenings and Saturdays based on studio operating hours.
