Position Title: Associate Master Data Control Analyst
Reporting into Title: VP Information Technology and Enterprise Transformation
Business and Department: Corporate Information Technology
Position Purpose/Summary:
Associate Master Data Analyst assists with the management and maintenance of the organization’s master data. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and consistent data across various systems, particularly within our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This role involves collaborating with different departments to support data accuracy, contribute to data governance initiatives, and provide insights through data analysis.

- Assist in maintaining and managing essential master data, including items, costs, and locations in the ERP system, ensuring all data entries are consistent and accurate.
- Help implement data governance processes to maintain data standards and support compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with the Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to understand and support master data needs.
- Support data quality by assisting in data cleansing activities, standardizing data entries, and ensuring data meets quality standards.
- Identify and recommend improvements in data processes to streamline data management and enhance efficiency across departments.
- Assist in generating reports to monitor data quality and provide insights for decision-making. Develop basic reporting skills using Excel and ERP reporting tools.
- Help analyze and resolve data-related issues, escalating as needed for complex problems.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain an accuracy rate of at least 98% for all data entries and updates in the ERP system.
- Complete data entry tasks within specified deadlines, such as within 24 hours of receiving data input requests.
- Address and resolve data-related issues within 48 hours of identification or escalation.
- Complete data cleansing and standardization projects as scheduled, achieving 100% completion of assigned tasks.
- Achieve full compliance with data governance standards, with zero errors or breaches in data governance practices.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with at least 3 key departments, such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations, for data-related activities.
- Ensure that all reports and documentation produced are 100% accurate and up-to-date, with any revisions completed within 24 hours of changes.
- Achieve a 90% satisfaction rate from feedback surveys when training or supporting other employees in data entry and management processes.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent capabilities learned through other life opportunities.
Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in data management or data analysis. Prior experience with ERP systems or data analysis tools.
- Basic understanding of data management principles.
- Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Adaptable and able to adjust quickly to changes.
- Team-oriented with an ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Technology:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with data entry and reporting functions.
Communication:
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members across departments.
