Job Title: Milling Machinist Status: Full Time Work Type: In Person Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT as needed on Fridays) Location: Blaine, MN Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:

The Milling Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet tight tolerances and customer specifications. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced machinist who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent quality. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Machining Operations • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts • Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and programs • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings • Perform multiple setups and ensure efficient machining processes

Programming & Troubleshooting • Edit programs and offsets to optimize machine performance • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues • Make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and improve efficiency

Quality & Inspection • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges

• Ensure all parts meet customer specifications and quality standards • Maintain accurate documentation and production records

Continuous Improvement & Maintenance • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste • Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are operating properly • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Required: • 5–10 years of CNC milling experience • Strong experience with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T • Strong math and measurement skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Preferred: • Experience with complex or tight-tolerance machining • Programming experience or advanced editing capabilities • Experience in a precision manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and tooling • Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed • Fast-paced, precision-focused work environment
