What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at The Vision Clinic?
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Optician to join our team. In this role, you will help patients choose and fit eyewear while working closely with our doctors to provide great patient care.
What You’ll Do:
- Help patients choose glasses that fit their needs and style
- Take accurate measurements for proper fit
- Process insurance claims
- Educate patients on how to care for their eyewear
- Keep track of frames, lenses, and contact lens inventory
- Ensure prescriptions and repairs are completed on time
- Work with patients of all ages
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as an Optician is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Retail experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical office procedures (helpful but not required)
