Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, including front desk, optical, and clinical team management
- Supervise staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance
- Manage vendor relationships for office supplies, equipment maintenance, and service contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Handle simple bookkeeping tasks such as monthly statements, expense tracking, and basic payroll processing using QuickBooks or similar software
- Maintain accurate filing systems and records management, including medical office documentation if applicable
- Support human resources functions by assisting with onboarding, employee records, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles within a professional setting
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Proficiency in using Windows-based computers and web-based applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of vendor management processes and contract negotiations
- Familiarity with human resources procedures including onboarding, training & development, and employee relations
- Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Ability to handle customer service complaints in an empathetic way
- Prior experience in medical office management or healthcare settings is a plus but not required
