Responsibilities We are seeking a School Nurse to provide health care services to medically fragile students (K-12 up to 21 years old) that have individual health plans. These services may include administering medications according to doctor’s orders, monitoring and care for seizures, tube feedings, ventilator support, suctioning, etc. Other duties may include assessing the health care needs of children to foster an optimal learning environment, contributing to the IEP meetings and work closely with other related service providers, such as PT, OT, Speech, Psychologist, etc. Provide First Aid for daily incidents, make recommendations when necessary, and document all incidents. Qualifications & Education NYS Registered Nursing Certification required. Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school or Pediatric environment preferred.
