Responsibilities Henry Viscardi School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher to join our instructional team. The school serves students with physical disabilities and complex medical needs in an inclusive, student-centered learning environment that emphasizes high academic standards, collaboration, and individualized support.
The Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-based math instruction aligned with New York State Learning Standards. The ideal candidate will differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, implement math-related IEP goals, and use data-driven practices to monitor and support student progress. The role requires close collaboration with special education teachers, therapists, nurses, and other support staff to ensure each student’s academic and developmental success. Qualifications & Education Candidates must hold New York State Math (7–12). Certification in Students with Disabilities(7–12) is strongly preferred. Experience differentiating instruction, utilizing educational technology, and supporting students with disabilities is highly desirable.

- All salaries are based on a 10-month school calendar (183 days and 6.5 hours of school day)
