Position Description
The Banquet Server works hand in hand with the Event Operations Manager and Supervisor for execution of all aspects for banquet and event functions. This position ensures that all food and beverage services for functions in the banquet department of The Virginian Hotel are served on time and that every one of The Virginian's professional standards are upheld.
Responsibilities
· Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Event Operations Manager or Supervisor
· Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
· Attend to all needs of the guests during functions.
· Report to the Event Operations Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of any banquet equipment and facilities.
· Assist in the upkeep and organization of all banquet areas.
- Assist in table and chair set up and teardown.

The ability to work nights and weekends is required.
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour based on experience. Gratuities from Banquet Events are pooled and distributed in addition to the hourly wage
