Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, physician orders, and state/federal regulations. Nurses may work in various settings depending on assignment, including acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, clinic, emergency, medical-surgical, behavioral health, and specialty units.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient conditions and document findings appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and caregivers
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred for some assignments)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred (new graduates may apply depending on assignment)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Reliable transportation and professional work ethic
