Role: Travel Psychiatric RN
Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care to patients with emotional disturbances or mental illnesses in a Behavioral Health setting. Perform intake assessments, observe and report behavioral changes, document patient information, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with psychiatrists and staff, administer medications, maintain a safe environment, and complete administrative tasks such as documentation and recordkeeping.
Qualifications & Skills: 1-2 years recent psychiatric nursing experience, BLS, PALS, and additional certifications as required. Must possess excellent coping and stress management skills, ability to relate to diverse populations, and physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Key Duties: Conduct assessments, monitor and report patient progress, assist with treatment planning, administer medications, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records.
This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented professional capable of handling unpredictable situations in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
