Role And Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under supervision, including obstetrical, gynecological, interventional, and vascular studies related to Obstetrics. Utilizes ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing fetal abnormalities, ensuring optimal patient positioning, equipment operation, and sterile techniques. Maintains accurate documentation, patient confidentiality, and proper equipment care. Coordinates exams within the office and communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff to deliver quality care. Performs administrative tasks such as scheduling, charge entry, and computer documentation. Mentors students, maintains professional growth, and participates in meetings and projects. Ensures work area supplies are adequate and equipment is maintained.

Qualifications And Skills
- Graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
- Current ARDMS certification, with abdomen and OB/GYN certification within three months.
- Two years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
- Proficient in sterilization, equipment operation, and following AIUM guidelines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
