Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a cardiology inpatient setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and models proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Works in moderate to high acuity acute care units, focusing on patient wellness, safety, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities: Prioritizes patient needs, contributes to a safe and secure environment, and supports organizational goals through exceptional care practices. Participates in continuous learning and applies current best practices in a fast-paced environment. Maintains clinical competency through certifications and ongoing education.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a valid RN license and at least 6 months of nursing experience. Requires BLS certification and ACLS within one year of hire. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills are essential.
