Role Overview
Provides respiratory care using critical thinking skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Assesses patients, develops, implements, and evaluates care plans, administers medications, and educates patients and families.
Acts as a clinical resource, provides leadership, and participates in healthcare improvement activities.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications & Skills
- Current state license and RRT credential according to the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience; hospital experience preferred.
- Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation.
- Computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office.
- BLS certification required within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications and provide health education.
- Collaborate with healthcare team and support lifelong learning.
- Support clinical leadership and contribute to quality improvement.
