Responsibilities
- Assess and develop patient care plans
- Implement and evaluate treatment strategies
- Administer prescribed medications
- Educate patients, families, and significant others about health management
- Participate in initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team
- Provide clinical leadership and support lifelong learning
- Achieve assigned goals
- Current state license and CRT credential
- Recent clinical respiratory care experience, preferably in hospital settings
- Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation
- Basic computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ABG endorsement preferred
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP are desirable
