Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition accurately and appropriately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Provide age-appropriate care and support self-care activities.
- Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
- Utilize nursing knowledge for treatments and services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in patient care.
- Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.
- Address psychosocial needs and coordinate post-discharge care.
- Practice cost-effective resource usage.
- Prioritize patient care efficiently and promote safety.
- Engage in lifelong learning to maintain professional competence.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Computer literacy required.
- RN licensure; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
