Role & Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in ICU and PCU settings, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
Coordinate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes and seamless care transitions.
Monitor patient conditions, implement interventions, and adjust care plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
Utilize electronic health records for documentation, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, delegate tasks appropriately, and support a culture of safety and professional excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
Active, unrestricted NYS RN license; certifications in BLS, CIT, NAPPI; ACLS and stroke certifications desired
Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to remain calm during emergencies
Strong knowledge of healthcare reporting and quality measures
Ability to complete basic math calculations and recognize patient care problems promptly.
Additional Requirements
Work authorization in the U.S. or eligible Canadian TN Visa under USMCA.
