Physical Therapist - Part Time Evening

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services in acute, subacute, and outpatient settings to restore function and prevent disability.

• Licensed by the State of Tennessee and a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program.
• Deliver patient care using standard equipment, demonstrating flexibility and competence across various hospital areas.
• Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and progress patients safely, adhering to professional standards.
• Participate in discharge planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Assist in training staff and students, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Manage caseloads effectively and contribute to departmental improvements.
  
  

Physical demands include extensive walking, lifting, and maneuvering patients and equipment up to 50 lbs., with the ability to respond to emergency situations. The role requires strong communication, manual dexterity, and adaptability in a healthcare environment.
