- Following individualized care plans and completing daily tasks using electronic documentation systems.
- Assisting with activities such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers with equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Ensuring safety protocols, infection control, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Supporting clients with self-help activities and respecting their privacy and confidentiality.
- Monitoring clients' conditions, reporting any concerns or changes to supervisors, and addressing safety or safety hazards promptly.
- Assisting with secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping as needed.
- Only assisting with self-administration of medications, never administering directly.
- High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience validated through references.
- Must be 18 years or older.
