Laundry & Linen Services Specialist

Role Overview: The Linen Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient distribution and collection of linen within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen and collect soiled linen, maintaining organized storage areas in accordance with policies.
• Manage linen inventory levels, record data accurately, and replenish carts to prescribed levels.
• Respond to customer service calls professionally and promptly, documenting requests and issues.
• Observe and report linen abuse or poor utilization to the Linen Distribution Manager (LDM).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen storage and work areas.
• Transport linen carts safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working with both clean and soiled linen adhering to policies.

Decision-Making & Physical Demands: The role involves decision-making regarding linen quantities and schedules. It requires physical activity, including walking several miles daily, lifting up to 10 pounds, pushing carts weighing up to 70 pounds, and handling soiled textiles safely.

Requirements: Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and adhere to vaccine policies.
