- Schedule procedures, prepare patients, and operate equipment while instructing patients on positioning.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, scrub techs, and students to ensure quality imaging for radiologist interpretation.
- Produce diagnostic images via digital or film methods and manage supplies and products used during procedures.
- Assist with patient care, including critically ill individuals, demonstrating high levels of compassion and skill.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with departmental, accreditation, and safety standards.
- Monitor hemodynamics during procedures and understand complex human vasculature to anticipate physician needs.
- Apply critical thinking to analyze clinical data and develop appropriate procedural plans.
- Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology or related field from a recognized program.
- Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT) or Radiography (ARRT), or RCIS (CCI) within 60 days.
- Effective communication, visual acuity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adherence to safety standards, laws, and regulations (CMS, OSHA, The Joint Commission).
