What You Will Do:
· Take the lead in creating, writing, and implementing dynamic communication programs that highlight and promote the unique benefits and value of vinyl.
· Manage and enhance an engaging editorial calendar, ensuring all digital platforms are fresh, relevant, and captivating. Craft and share compelling social media content.
· Produce the bi-weekly member e-newsletter, expertly curating and creating content while maintaining effective distribution channels.
· Embrace your role as a storyteller, discovering and developing innovative narratives about people, places, and advancements in the industry to share across our digital landscape.
· Strategically develop and execute the organization’s social media approach, leveraging existing channels and blogs, while effectively managing paid digital campaigns for maximum impact.
· Create and maintain attention-grabbing online content that sparks interest and is easily shareable among key audiences.
· Collaborate with consultants to design eye-catching graphics, digital brochures, fact sheets, email campaigns, e-newsletters, presentations, podcasts, videos, and a variety of other communication assets.
· Ensure all digital content and campaigns are optimized for search engine visibility, boosting discoverability and engagement.
· Participate in and oversee logistical planning for sponsorships and member events across the US, with travel required.
· Support the team with seamless execution of both virtual and in-person events, including managing event registration, preparing detailed run-of-show agendas, assisting with virtual production, coordinating speaker logistics, and promoting events effectively.

Desired Skills, Experience & Eligibility:
· Three to five years' work experience in marketing communications (PR agency, political campaign, and or association experience a plus!)
· Experience as a writer. Successful candidates will write original articles, press releases, blogs, social media posts, and marketing documents.
· Eligible to work in the United States.
· Successful track record of previous experience in marketing, communications, or digital media through previous jobs, internships, and volunteer activities.
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in social and digital communication for an organization as evidenced by examples of online social media engagement, digital email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts and other communications.
· Readiness to work in a traditional office environment and meet high standards of professionalism.
· Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills with the ability to run multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability as a resourceful, self-motivated, creative, and results-oriented colleague through experience in working as part of a team.
· Accountable with timely follow-up and keen attention to detail.
· Ability to commute to Washington, DC (office is Metro-accessible and parking is available on-site).
· Working knowledge of some of the applications and technologies – Meltwater, CVENT, Spark Influence, Adobe Illustrator, Memo, WordPress, Canva, Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc. Basic digital editing is a plus!
· Bachelor's degree.
· Salary Range: $58,000 – $63,000
