We are looking for an experienced Cafe Manager that will manage the food prep and running of our Arlington Tearoom. We are looking for an experienced Serve Safe certified Manager who has experience in both prepping food and managing a small team of servers. Excellent customer service and management skills required.
Responsibilities:
- food preparation of finger sandwiches and basic dessert prep
- Prepare and prep dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the restaurant's standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Oversee timely seatings and any customer service needs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting
- Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work every weekend
