We are seeking a skilled, detail‑oriented Seamstress to join our fashion boutique team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys contributing to a refined, concierge‑style shopping experience. The Seamstress works closely with our management team to ensure garments meet the highest standards of quality and presentation for our clients.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and passionate about fashion, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a luxury retail environment. We value individuals who want to grow with a small business and who bring professionalism, integrity, and care to every garment they handle.
General support responsibilities include:
- Must be able to perform high-quality garment hand-stitching for minor repairs or reconstruction.
- Maintain consistent standards of craftsmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Work closely with Management to support special requests
- Steam, press, and prepare garments to meet boutique presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized sewing and work area
- Follow store protocols related to garment handling, quality control, and overall boutique appearance
- Represent the boutique with professionalism and a client‑first mindset
- Possesses the desire to learn and grow in support of sales and management
- Has a natural attention to detail and is task-oriented
- Assists Sales staff and Management as needed with customers
- Able to demonstrate reliability and dependability.
- Represents the company with integrity and dedication.
- Maintains professionalism and provides excellent support service.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
